REDEMPTION is a Kingdom Films original—conceived, organized, and produced under the Kingdom Brands banner.
As the story goes, Marlee and Matthew were attending One Church in Columbus OH in August 2024 when returning tight-end for Ohio State Football, Gee Scott Jr. came and preached a message.
Before the 2024 football season even began, Marlee and Matthew felt called to capture what God was doing inside the Ohio State community. We didn’t know how the story would unfold—but we knew it was bigger than the game. What followed was a season of purpose, perseverance, and undeniable evidence of God’s hand at work.
Kingdom Brands led the production from start to finish—partnering with Serif Creative for cinematography and post-production, and with Wonder Project for global distribution. Executive Producers Matthew Benson, Marlee Benson, alongside Tim Tebow and Chris Ritchie, helped guide the vision, while editors Sal Marandino and Brandon Moraghan brought the story to life on screen.
About Redemption
Redemption chronicles the Ohio State football team’s unforgettable 2024 season, culminating in a national championship, but this story goes much deeper than touchdowns and trophies. Featuring players like Gee Scott Jr., TreVeyon Henderson, Emeka Egbuka, and Will Howard, the series captures the season through their eyes — both on the field during its biggest moments and off the field as they faced challenges that shaped who they are.
With commentary from Urban Meyer, Tim Tebow, and Rece Davis, Redemption is a cinematic and emotionally unfiltered look at how faith, brotherhood, and perseverance fueled what some are calling the hardest playoff run in college football. This is more than football. More than a national championship. This is Redemption.
